Trump’s Tweets About McCabe Resurface After Firing: ‘Racing the Clock to Retire’

Andrew McCabe has been fired, and given that huge news, President Trump‘s tweets from last year going after McCabe are getting renewed attention.
In tweets from last July and December, the President went after McCabe a number of times, invoking his wife’s political activity:
Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

Why didn't A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got….

…big dollars ($700,000) for his wife's political run from Hillary Clinton and her representatives. Drain the Swamp!

How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is racing the clock to retire with full benefits. 90 days to go?!!!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2017
.@FoxNews-FBI’s Andrew McCabe, “in addition to his wife getting all of this money from M (Clinton Puppet), he was using, allegedly, his FBI Official Email Account to promote her campaign. You obviously cannot do this. These were the people who were investigating Hillary Clinton.”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 24, 2017
That now-infamous “90 days to go?!!!” taunting tweet came after reports he was set to resign. Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe just days before he was set to receive his full pension, following a recommendation from the FBI disciplinary office.
McCabe has spoken out in a statement and in some interviews tonight, saying he’s being unfairly targeted because of his involvement in investigations concerning the administration and even alleging Trump brought up his wife in their private meetings.
