Why Is America Confused About Obama’s Religion? Bob Schieffer Blames The Internet

A recently released Pew Research poll shows that an increasing number of Americans, especially Republicans, seem to believe that a self-described Christian President Obama is actually a Muslim. In a special commentary entitled “The Downside of the Internet” on CBS’ Face the Nation, anchor Bob Schieffer pointed to this news as an example of evils of the Internet, or as he describes it, the “only news delivery system that doesn’t have an editor.” In his eyes, its the “nuts, perverts and those who are simply looking to validate their prejudices” who rely on the Internet to get their news. Talk about intolerance!
