Yahoo Releases Epic Teaser Trailer for Community Season 6

There is more than a little self-aggrandizing on behalf of Yahoo in this first trailer for the upcoming online-only sixth season of Community, which was unceremoniously canceled by NBC in May. The just-released video looks back on highlights from the previous five seasons with an announcer saying the show was “left barely alive” before Yahoo came to its rescue.

“We have the ability to make the world’s first bionic show,” the announcer intones. “Community will be that show. Better than it was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.”

“Ratings?” the trailer asks at the end. “Where we’re going, we don’t need ratings.”
