Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham called upon Texas Governor Rick Perry to quit his bid for the Republican presidential nomination. “Rick Perry should drop out of this race,” Ingraham exclaimed. “And I like Rick Perry, I thought he was pretty cool in the last debate except for that little problem with calling Turkey an Islamic terrorist regime. I mean, God bless him but he’s not putting the time to kind of know anything about foreign policy and you can’t be president if you don’t know anything about foreign policy.”

With a week off to celebrate Thanksgiving, Jon Stewart returned tonight with some orders of business to discuss– among them President Obama’s Thanksgiving address, which irritated some on Fox News for having omitted mention of God. Looking at the coverage of it, Stewart found that Fox even turned to a priest to discuss the matter, while only mentioning in passing that other Presidents had done so in the past, and that the President actually did mention God in his written address.

Julian Assange may have just won the support of the entire Republican Party. After keeping publicly silent on the explosive Wikileaks diplomatic cables still being released as the organizations leader awaits his day in court, President Obama is out on damage control, calling up foreign leaders to express his regret for Wikileaks’ “deplorable actions.”
