2 More Networks Pull Cosby Reruns Following Deposition Release

Last fall, when the first wave of rape accusations against Bill Cosby came to light, the TV Land network announced it was dropping The Cosby Show reruns from its lineup. Now that new court documents have emerged in which Cosby admits to obtaining drugs intended to sedate women, his sitcom is disappearing from two more cable networks.
CNN reports that the BET-owned Centric network have pulled reruns of The Cosby Show from its schedule “until further notice.” In addition, the Atlanta-based African-American network Bounce TV will remove reruns of Cosby, the comedian’s subsequent sitcom that ran on CBS from 1996-2000.
The Cosby Show is still available to subscribers of Hulu Plus. The entire series was previously available to stream on Netflix, but was removed in 2012, before the recent allegations came to light.
