If Dave were a conservative, I’d like him.
But he’s a liberal, so he’s not funny. 

I decide what comics, singers and actors I like based on their political views. If an artist I like makes a pro-liberal comment, I stop liking them (see Letterman, many years ago). If an artist I don’t like makes a pro-conservative comment, I will then like them (see Tom Selleck, who does lots of great made-for-cable movies).

If an artist wants my support, they have to support conservative causes. All other artists are hack liberal losers and a blight on the creative community.
