Jeb Bush Doesn’t Want to Be Associated with Trump’s ‘Vitriol’

jebJeb Bush has avoided speaking much about Donald Trump, even as Trump has been going after him and retweeting shots against his wife. But today in Iowa, Bush did speak out a bit on how the Republican party needs to be “bold, not divisive and angry” like Trump’s being.

He said the GOP needs to reject pessimism and grievance and offer people hope if they’re going to win over voters next November.

As for Trump himself, Bush said he has a right to say whatever he wants, but “I don’t want to be associated with the kind of vitriol he’s spewing out these days.”
