O’Reilly on Bundy Fallout: ‘Be Careful Who You Partner Up With’

Bill O’Reilly didn’t jump on the Cliven Bundy case like some of his Fox colleagues did. In fact, last night he even asked a Bundy supporter what the difference is between the Nevada rancher and Occupy Wall Street. So after the big news about Bundy broke today, O’Reilly took a minute for an “I told you so” moment, saying Bundy’s racist remarks are a clear illustration to “be careful who you partner up with.”

Bernie Goldberg told O’Reilly it’s like watching “rats jumping off a sinking ship” to see so many people distancing themselves from Bundy after he shared his thoughts on slavery and “the Negro” in America. He called Bundy “abysmally ignorant,” and rolled his eyes at “all those people on the far right who turned him into a poster boy to make the case against government overreach.”

O’Reilly boasted about his own show’s fair and balanced coverage of the Bundy situation, and said, “If you are going to partner up with somebody ideologically, you gotta know who that person is.”
