Rubio Bashes Gun Control Narrative: ‘I Don’t Hear Anyone Talking About Bomb Control’
Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio slammed those who were pushing for gun control in the wake of the San Bernardino attack, pointing out that the law didn’t keep the suspects from making bombs, either.

“When this first came out– without knowing anything about the case — the first thing [the left] started talking about was gun control,” Rubio said. “I don’t hear anybody talking about bomb control. They put bombs and left bombs behind on the scene of attack, intending to kill even more people than they did with guns.”
“I think it’s symptomatic of the broader issue,” he continued, “and that is an almost hope that none of this is terror related because [Barack Obama] wants this argument to be ‘We have this under control.’ We do not have this under control.”
“You can see in the original reaction, they were hoping this was just another one of these incidents and instead it’s turned into increasingly likely a terrorist attack,” he said.
