Tina Fey Reprises Her Famed Sarah Palin Impression On The Late Show

Last night on the Late Show, Tina Fey gifted David Letterman with a few moments of her infamous Sarah Palin impression. She also got a swipe in at Fox News, saying they should stop calling her “Governor Palin” because it would be like still introducing Fey as a “Dairy Queen employee.” It was a good line if you excuse the fact that we do that for all political figures. Still, any Fey as Palin is better than no Fey as Palin.

Tina, get a new act. And a new face- you looked like someone pushed you out of the “Overton Window.”

Wow, original. Is this woman capable of anything else? I mean other than looking terrified and running around without saying anything on 30 Rock. I can see her now, rising from her death bed, anyone want to see my Palin , just one last time?

As Kramer would say, Soooo Played…

No one ever gets tired of the Palin shtick. Absolutely hilarious, and spot on.

It’s good for her sake that she can do Palin. I saw her movie “Date Night” and it sucked out loud.

I get sick of the Palin shtick but the media just won’t stop reporting everything she says.

Yeah, when you consider doing one impression (or character) is the pinnacle of your entire body of work, it sort of puts it in perspective, ya know?

But I’m sure she’s important to someone.

I understand but I do think she is hilarious; not that she intends to be, I’m sure she doesn’t. I watch her on Fox for nothing more than the entertainment value. She is funny.

Sarah Palin, who has received nothing but hysterical, foaming-at-the-mouth, vicious, mean-spirited, false, mis-leading and totally biased slime attacks from the lunatic-left and their “Corrupt B-tard” puppets in the lamestream media, is now indisputably the MOST POWERFUL, MOST INFLUENTIAL, MOST EFFECTIVE woman politician in America today (special thanks to the Trifecta of Scum, aka the official “You Lie!” hussein cheerleading squad, nbc, snl and tina fey. And ,of course, couric deserves a special place in hell for her unrestrained bias against Palin and all that is American.). So, to the lamestream lunatic-left, I say: keep it up until President Palin – and the overwhelming majority of the American people – have the last laugh at you.

Also the fanboi rants don’t help.

You don’t get to knock a multi Emmy and Golden Globe winner for writing, acting, and producing in comparison to a person who quit the most important civil service role a state can have, because she knew she could make more money and to avoid an investigation.

you got all the Palin buzz words in there…. well done

that is except for the majority of the America people. You do realize she is more unpopular than Obama which is really hard to do these days.

Tina was safe. Letterman only plays grabass with homely women.

  • Jim R

Unrestrained bias = “What do you read?”

OMG!!! How could she?! Are there no journalistic standards nowadays! The nerve! Can’t a highly qualified conservative get a friendlier interview with easier questions?

tina fey is way to old and used looking to even think about playing Sarah Palin. And that gap tooth prick should be fired ASAP

  • philipjames

Desperation humor by a liberal wacko to a liberal wacko. Well, keep trying… keep trying. It does not work and after a while it gets a little tired…. which is what Tina looks like too.

My granddaddy always told me to never tell a joke thats not that funny more then twice…. zzzzzz

Guys, Tina Fey is one of the most gifted comedic creators of the past decade. You’d have to view her work through a very narrow lens to assume this is all she’s known for. And I really call into question the heterosexuality of any man that considers her unattractive.

Tina Fey says she didn’t follow the elections closely, but when doing her impression of Palin one of her lines was of Palin saying something to the effect of “busting through the glass ceiling”

Interesting, because THAT EXACT PHRASE word for word was mentioned when she sat on the Fox Panel, election night, with Geraldine Ferraro. (right at the end, though Megyn Kelly said it, not Palin- Sorry Tina)

But yeah sure Tina…you weren’t following it at all were you?

You are right on, it is like catnip to a feline. They can’t help themselves. If the left really wanted to shut down Governor Palin, they would stop talking about her. But they can’t, so the Governor will continue to be in the spotlight. And for the ten thousandth time, like it or not, she still is addressed as “Governor”. Now will she ever be addressed as President, probably not. Then again, we got stuck with a man who has not managed much more than a lemonade stand to lead our country to ruin, check that, it’s called a “managed decline”. Go figure…..

Good line? That’s the point, we do it to all former Gov, Presidents…geez Carter is still called Mr. President. It reveals just what a “genius” she is I’m glad Letterman called her on it…never mind.
