Trump Created a Terribly Catchy Call-and-Response With His Crowd in Vermont Tonight

screen_shot_2016-01-07_at_8.12.38_pm_720Donald Trump took the stage at a very highly anticipated rally in Burlington, Vermont Thursday night, the same rally that the Trump campaign distributed 20,000 tickets to for a venue that only seats 1,400. On a DonaldJTrump.com backdrop and with his flag pin proudly shining, Trump stumbled into a call-and-response with the packed house at Burlington’s Flynn Center completely by accident; he may have created the next monster to roar loudest in his campaign, as if volume was at all a problem previously.

It all started when a man from the crowd shouted something about “the wall”, presumably referencing the now-famous proposed wall that Donald Trump intends to build between the United States and Mexico. In a moment that may very well forever redefine the Trump approach to energizing a crowd, Trump suddenly asked the crowd, “Who’s gonna pay for the wall?”

Immediately and stunningly on cue, the entire crowd shouted back, “MEXICOOO!”.

And in keeping with the rule of 3’s, Trump followed it up with two more calls to action from the gathered Vermont crowd that shouted the name of our neighbors to the South two more times, each louder than the last. Trump himself seemed to really get a kick out of the new addition to his live rallies, admitting he had never done it before but might have to consider bringing it back.

And for those of you keeping score at home, as of the publishing of this article, the Trump rally has been interrupted by hecklers four times.
