50 Cent Offers Zohran Mamdani First Class Ticket Out of New York After Being Name-Dropped in His Tax Plan: ‘I’m Telling Trump!’

50 Cent lashed out at New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani after the politician name-dropped the rapper while discussing proposed tax increases.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, 50 Cent responded to an interview with Mamdani on The Breakfast Club earlier this month in which he said the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, was not going to be “happy” with his potential tax increases.

Mamdani said in the interview that he wants to raise taxes on corporations, as well as implement a 2% tax increase for New York City’s top 1% of earners. He said his goal is to raise $10 billion to “Trump-proof” New York City.

“I know if 50 Cent is listening, he’s not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy, but I want to be very clear this is about $20,000 a year. It’s a rounding error. And all of these things together, they make every New Yorker’s life better, including those who are actually getting taxed now,” the Democratic socialist said.

“Where did he come from? Whose friend is this? I’m not feeling this plan. No. I will give him $258,750 and a first-class one-way ticket away from NY. I’m telling Trump what he said too!” 50 Cent wrote in response.

The “telling Trump” line is likely a reference to the rapper recently saying he was going to rat on Diddy and all the negative things he said about President Donald Trump after the president did not fully shoot down the idea of pardoning the rapper, who is currently facing sex trafficking charges.

50 Cent endorsed Trump in 2020 — but later took it back — after complaining about former President Joe Biden’s tax plan. 50 Cent went on to turn down a chance to perform at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally in 2024.

“FUCK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya fucking mind,” he wrote at the time.
