Devastating: Chrissy Teigen Has Set Her Twitter Account to Private
If you didn’t already follow Chrissy Teigen on Twitter, you’re out of luck. The model/overall hilarious person/best thing about the 2016 election has set her account to private.
Last night, after Tweeting “Man. Imagine having to defend Donald’s EXACT statements. Not an easy task,” during the Vice Presidential debate, she set the account to private. When questioned by a fan, she said she’s “not strong enough anymore.”

She continued, “It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people. I just feel like I am absorbing bad sh*t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”

Teigen’s actions likely stem from hate she got last night after Tweeting, “Whoa we are witnessing the death of Pence’s batteries.” The Tweet has since been deleted. It’s also likely due to things like this response to a different Tweet about Mike Pence:
@chrissyteigen @mike_pence Who are you? John Legend’s whore turned wife?

Along with her husband John Legend, Teigen has been campaigning for Hillary Clinton, including appearing at a ralley in Las Vegas yesterday.
