Fox & Friends Host Lawrence Jones Fawns Over Sydney Sweeney After Shooting Range Video Emerges
That Sydney Sweeney really is a pistol — just ask Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones.
As Sweeney mania grips America following her controversial ad for American Eagle, the curvy couch noted the recent news that Sweeney is registered as a Republican in Florida, a realization that has even caught the attention of President Donald Trump.
Over the weekend, a video emerged of a gun-toting Sweeney nailing targets at a gun range, reloading, and hitting more. The video has right-leaning men howling and salivating like a cartoon wolf.
Among them was Jones, who couldn’t hide his admiration Monday morning.
“You love to see it,” he told co-hosts Charlie Hurt and Sandra Smith. “For me, as a single guy, anytime I see a young woman that can shoot, her value goes up. That means I can take her home to Texas. She understands — that means when I’m away from the family, she’s gonna protect the family. And I think this is beautiful. They tried to destroy this woman and her value is going up. She is just not beautiful, but she can shoot too? We’re done here. It’s just beautiful.”
The video was posted Saturday by online firearms retailer Taran Tactical Innovations.
The shooting range video is the latest example of Sweeney’s status as a GOP darling, days after it emerged she was a registered Republican.
Conservative media has pounced on the American Eagle ad’s left-leaning critics, who have gone so far as to accuse American Eagle of spreading “racist” and “Nazi propaganda” with the Sweeney ad.
