SNL Star Frolics With Trump And Epstein In Doctored Video For Weekend Update
Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost was inserted into the ubiquitous archival video of President Donald Trump and deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein frolicking together.
This week’s edition of Saturday Night Live marked the second episode of the sketch comedy mainstay’s 51st season. The host was SNL alum Amy Poehler, hosting for the first time since 2015 and her third time since leaving the cast.
In honor of Poehler’s return, SNL posted a blooper reel from her time co-anchoring Weekend Update:

Also this week, Role Model was the musical guest. From SNL:
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, will be making his SNL debut, during which fans are keeping their fingers crossed that he’ll perform his hit song, “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.” The big question is: Who will get to play Sally and join him on stage? Bowen Yang has already done it once, but that doesn’t mean he can’t reprise the role? We’ll just have to tune in to find out!
Tonight’s episode airs exactly 50 years after SNL premiered on October 11, 1975, and while the major celebrations went down in February, you might as well keep it going with a toast to a well-earned birthday.
Next week’s host and musical guest will be Sabrina Carpenter pulling double duty.
During the second set of Weekend Update gags, co-host Michael Che presented the Epstein footage and told Jost “You suck!”:
COLIN JOST: Former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has been accused of drunkenly assaulting a delivery driver before the driver stabbed him. The penalty’s offset. Repeat first down. If convicted, Sanchez could be sent to prison, or worse, back to the Jets.
MICHAEL CHE: OpenAI has updated its video-generating app Sora to allow users to create cameos of themselves in videos. And they’re pretty realistic. I mean, I made this one before the show.
MICHAEL CHE: Ha ha ha. Uh huh. You suck. You
COLIN JOST: Really excited for that to just be out there.
A growing number of Gen Z men are moving back in with their parents taking over household shores and calling themselves trad sons, replacing the old name failures.
MICHAEL CHE: Arby’s announced that they are adding a new item to their menu, steak nuggets. Although you can make your own steak nuggets by eating a bunch of Arby.
COLIN JOST: A high school cheer coach was arrested on charges that she had sex with a male student. Said the coach, give me a D.
