According to John Wall, D.C. Fans Like Chick-Fil-A More Than Winning

In the fourth quarter of a Washington Wizards game, if a player on the opposing team misses two foul shots in a row, there’s a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich giveaway. A rare occurrence, this is obviously extremely exciting  for fans.

Friday night during a Wizards vs. Pistons game, it happened, and the fans went nuts. In fact, they cheered so hard that when the Wizards walked away with a win, they didn’t have the same energy left to cheer…or they just weren’t quite as excited about the win as they were about free chicken.

John Wall joked about the fans’ excitement after the game:

It’s not entirely unexpected. People get really, really excited about their Chick-Fil-A.
