Gross: Ketchup Cake is Now a Thing

When used appropriately, ketchup is great. On French fries, it’s excellent. On a burger, it works. You can put it on a hot dog if you want to, and we respectfully disagree. On eggs, again, do what you want, but if you want to know what Anthony Bourdain thinks, and let’s be honest, you do, you may want to pull back:

There is one place where ketchup certainly never, ever belongs, and that’s in dessert. The world’s biggest ketchup company, Heinz, respectfully disagrees. They think you should be making “great” Canadian Ketchup Cake.

Is potentially shitty food allowed here?

Reddit user Gregory Nuttle actually decided to bake this crime against cakes and document it on YouTube.

Everyone actually enjoyed it, including Nuttle himself who broke his vegan diet to eat it. His dog didn’t think it was bad either.
