Fresh Off the Boat: After honorably engaging in a Twitter Battle Royale with us, Anthony Bourdain, and Francis Lam, Eddie Huang took back to his blog for the last word on the Culinary Imperialism debate.

New York Times: What does a Jenny Craig box o’ daily meals look like in France (where there are also fat women) versus in America? Now you know. If these were around in the ’60s, we wonder which country Fat Betty Draper would prefer…

Zagat: The Brits are complaining that when American (among other) celebrity chefs come to town with their fad pop-up restaurants, and meals costing hundreds of pounds, which always sell out almost immediately, they feel ripped off. We’re complaining that we’ll never even get the chance for “A Taste of Noma.”

Serious Eats: Allow us to whet your whistle for this weekend’s Big Apple BBQ in New York by reminding you, via our friend John Currence who will also be in attendance, that Southern cooking can and does involve vegetables. Now pass the pork. Please.

Eater: Tyler Florence‘s Napa restaurant Rotisserie and Wine closed for a revamp a year after opening, and now, after months of being dark, it was announced that the restaurant will close for good. But we didn’t have high hopes for a fast food joint with “Wine” in the name, anyway.
