Mmmmmm, Sriracha. Ain’t nobody got time to hate on sriracha — in fact, people would rather watch a documentary about the popular, ubiquitous condiment made by Huy Fong Foods, than, say, watch Game of Thrones. And if you’re really into forgetting about that thing that happened last night, here’s the film for you: Illinois filmmaker (and IndyMogul host) Griffin Hammond is currently in post-production mode on a documentary about Sriracha’s history in the U.S. and why everyone loves it so damn much. Watch him talk about producing a compelling narrative about the humble sauce, because we’re really excited for it to come out this September. And why not? Everybody loves Sriracha! Sriracha’s tasty! Sriracha’s constant! Sriracha never tore our hearts out.
