Starbucks Testing Cold Brew Coffee, So Just Give Up Now

What, you’re not going to keep drinking your Mason Jar cold brews once Starbucks comes out with theirs, are you?

Blogger Starbucks Melody reports the chain is testing the ropes oh so quietly in one district in Boston. The “core Ethiopian” coffee is made in a Toddy system, much like the 24-hour cold brews you’ll find at your third-wave coffee shops. And it’s “small batch,” like everything else hipster that you love.

If only it had a fun name like “Fizzio,” Starbucks’ line of craft sodas. Nothing is sacred anymore.
