Ann Coulter Jumps Back on the Trump Train: ‘Trump 2 is AWESOME!’

Conservative author Ann Coulter – one of the earliest supporters of President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign – has seemingly jumped back aboard the Trump train following years of criticism.
“Trump 2 is AWESOME!” Coulter reacted to a news headline that read, “Trump would deport American citizens to El Salvador ‘if it’s legal.'”
In another post, Coulter also praised Trump’s recent tariffs, writing, “Some might argue that Trump shouldn’t waver on tariffs until the number of hedge fund managers who have hurled themselves out of windows is mid-triple figures. Naturally I would never suggest such a thing.”
While Coulter was an early supporter of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign – authoring a book titled, In Trump We Trust – she quickly became one of his most vocal critics after Trump failed to deliver on many of his campaign promises, specifically those regarding immigration and the proposed border wall.
Just last month, Coulter criticized the Trump administration’s decision to arrest and deport anti-Israel protester Mahmoud Khalil, calling it a “violation of the first amendment.”
In December, Coulter also criticized Trump’s nomination of “sleazy” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, branding him a “serial adulterer.”
“Can’t trust Trump as far as I can throw him, but I do trust JD Vance to care about the left behind people,” said Coulter in August, before calling Trump “an awful, awful person.”
Trump, meanwhile, called Coulter a “washed up” pundit he “didn’t want around” in September 2023.
