The Food and Drug Administration has officially signed off on Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster shots.
The news comes two months after the FDA approved Pfizer boosters.
The FDA put out information Wednesday afternoon to clarify who is eligible for each of these booster shots.
If you received the Pfizer shots over six months ago, you can get a booster shot if you’re over 65 years old, in a high-risk group, or have frequent exposure to the virus. The same applies for people who got the Moderna vaccine.
If you got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you can get a booster at least two months after your shot if you are 18 or older.
The FDA also allowed for people to “mix and match” with the booster shots, meaning if you need a booster you don’t necessarily need to get the same vaccine again.
