BREAKING: Marjorie Taylor Greene Is No Longer Following @Catturd2 on X Amid MAGA Civil War

There are epochal moments in time during which mountains move, borders change, hearts are won, and social media followers are lost.

We are living through one such moment. According to the U.S. Politics Alert account on X, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is no longer following @catturd2, also known as Catturd, on the same social media site.

All kidding aside, Greene’s sudden departure from Catturd’s follower count comes amidst her decision to break with President Donald Trump — whom Catturd considers himself a superfan of — on a number of issues.

In recent days, Greene, formerly a loyal Trump devotee, has criticized her party for standing in the way of the release of further information regarding Jeffrey Epstein (at Trump’s behest), as well as the president’s imposition of tariffs, his enrichment of his “crypto donors,” and support for Israel.

“And I’m talking to major manufacturing companies that are-, they’re saying we support the president, we support what he’s trying-, his long-term goal. but we’re having problems with these tariffs. And now we’re have problems We can’t get supplies from this country, and we can’t get supplies for this country. And there’s-, there’s problems. But has the, has-, have regular people’s bank accounts been, been affected? Has the stress come off? No, that has not happened yet and that needs to be the major focus,” argued Greene during a recent sit-down with Tim Dillon. “It shouldn’t be about helping your crypto donors, or your AI donors, or welcoming in these people that hated you and spent money to try to beat you, but all of a sudden are excited to come out to the to the new Rose Garden patio. That shouldn’t be the focus.”

As for the personal end of Greene and Catturd’s relationship online, it appears to have been a long time coming.

The latter even weighed in on Greene’s departure from his ranks on Wednesday, musing “Oh no – the New Democrat superhero no longer follows me – how will I survive 😂.”
