BREAKING: One Dead After Explosion at California Fertility Clinic in ‘Intentional Act of Violence’ Say Police
An explosion rocked a Palm Springs neighborhood Saturday morning, killing one person and injuring at least five others near a fertility clinic, according to multiple reports.
CNN reported that a blast occurred just before 11 a.m. near North Indian Canyon Drive and East Tachevah Drive in the city. The explosion was powerful enough to be felt more than two miles away, officials said.

An explosion that rocked downtown Palm Springs Saturday morning was an “intentional act of violence” that has left one person dead, Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills said in what appears to be “an isolated incident.”
Photos and videos from the scene showed major structural damage to American Reproductive Centers, a fertility and in vitro fertilization clinic (IVF).

Several nearby buildings were also damaged, local police said.
One person, believed to be the suspect, died in the blast, law enforcement sources told KABC News. The identity of the deceased has not been released, and officials have not confirmed a motive.
“We are aware of the explosion that occurred this morning in Palm Springs. FBI is on scene and will be investigating whether this was an intentional act,” U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said in a statement. “We will release as much information as possible once we are able to confirm details.”

According to KABC, at least five people were injured during the incident.
Palm Springs city officials said the blast remains under active investigation. Federal agencies, including the FBI and ATF, are assisting local police with the response.
Police and the FBI have urged the public to avoid the area while bomb technicians and investigators continue to assess the scene.
