CNN anchor Sara Sidner was boarding a plane to Israel to report on the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip when she captured a powerful moment.

Sidner posted a video to her Twitter/X account of an Air France flight attendant — named Jean Paul, natch — singing a song in Hebrew to an emotional passenger. Sidner said in her tweet that the whole flight crew was singing, and while it might be a touchy subject for some, the crew were also offering up some welcome hugs:

After nearly a week of covering the atrocities of the Israel-Hamas War on CNN, it’s no surprise that Sidner nearly “burst into tears” at the kind act and she was clearly not the only one.

Sidner was one of the anchors who covered one of the most horrific acts committed by Hamas in the group’s attack on Israel: the release of photos on Thursday of babies murdered by the terrorist group.
