Dave Portnoy Names and Shames Man Arrested For Anti-Semitic Attack: ‘Will Follow Him Everywhere He Goes’
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy identified and shamed the man who threw an antisemitic slur at him while filming a pizza review.
On his One Bite Pizza Reviews, Portnoy blasted the 20-year-old student who was arrested for allegedly making an antisemitic comment at Portnoy while he was filming a segment in Starkville, Mississippi.
“F**k the Jews!” someone can be heard yelling during Portnoy’s pizza review. The crowd gathered blasted the man, and Portnoy chased him down and confronted him.
Portnoy said on Monday he planned on outing the man himself, but the police beat him to it.
He said:
They arrested this loser for disturbing the peace. Show them the mugshot! Nice hair, you f**king loser. Introducing Patrick McClintock. Not to be confused with his brother who has been arrested a bunch of times. Real classy family. And I hope it was worth it for this kid, to do this little stunt and now this story will follow this piece of s**t everywhere he goes. I assume he’s going to get booted out of school, deserves it, and everytime he applies for a job, they’re going to go, oh, so you’re an antisemitic piece of s**t? So, like I said, I hope it was worth it.
The Starkville Police Department confirmed McClintock was arrested on Monday to The Reflector, a Mississippi State University newspaper. McClintock was reportedly a junior and a mechanical engineering major at Mississippi State University. He voluntarily withdrew from the university on Monday.
Portnoy also faced an antisemitic heckler while filming a pizza review in Toronto in June.
“It’s every day now. Like, there’s a definitive shift in what’s going on… for me, being a Jewish person you got to step up,” Portnoy told CBS News after the latest incident. “You’re kind of someone people look up to in the Jewish community. You have to be like, alright, this is not normal.”
