‘Disaster!’ MAGA Loyalists Flag Pro-Democratic Past Of RFK Jr.’s Closest Adviser

President Donald Trump’s team and some MAGA Republicans are reportedly concerned about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s closest aide and longtime Democratic activist Stefanie Spear – sounding the alarm on her past remarks.

According to Axios, conservative activists and policy groups have been quietly circulating links to Spear’s old social media posts for weeks now, pointing to her history of supporting Democratic causes.

“This woman just has every appearance of being a disaster from a conservative perspective,” a source from a right-leaning organization told the outlet.

While many in Trump’s orbit have embraced Kennedy, the president’s pick for health secretary, Spear’s presence is fueling suspicion that his team isn’t as ideologically aligned as they’d hoped.

Spear, who has worked alongside Kennedy for over a decade, has become a crucial figure in his political orbit. Her role has ranged from executive assistant to campaign spokesperson, making her a key gatekeeper.

Some MAGA critics worry that her influence could temper Kennedy’s alignment with Trump’s agenda, given her past affiliations. One person familiar with their relationship told Axios Spear was “a safety blanket for Bobby.”

Kennedy’s team, however, is brushing off the concerns. A spokesperson emphasized that Spear’s background has not been a liability, calling her “a team player” who is “crucial in fulfilling the promise of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and President Trump to Make America Healthy Again and end the chronic disease epidemic.”

Despite this, the Trump team has already made adjustments. Spear won’t be Kennedy’s chief of staff at HHS, according to the Wall Street Journal. Instead, she’s slated to serve as deputy chief of staff and senior counsel. The top spot will go to Heather Flick, a Trump administration veteran, presumably to reassure skeptical Republicans.

Kennedy, meanwhile, who has just endured two grueling days of confirmation hearings, faces a vote by the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday.
