Fox’s Maria Bartiromo Mocks ‘Useful Idiots’ Who ‘Attacked’ Her in Russia ‘Hoax’ Victory Lap

Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo mocked the “liars” and “useful idiots” who “attacked” her for “pursuing truth” when it came to Russian election interference as she took a victory lap Thursday after the Trump administration accused Democrats of having created the “hoax” narrative in 2016.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appeared at Wednesday’s White House briefing to promote her claims of a “conspiracy” led by former President Barack Obama and detail her conclusions after reviewing newly declassified documents, released Friday.
Those findings remain at odds with multiple investigations and a Republican-led Senate committee, and critics have pointed out that Gabbard’s allegation appears to come from a wrongful “conflation” of reports. Gabbard revealed, however, that she had submitted the documents to the Justice Department who may consider prosecuting Obama.
Just hours after the presser, Bartiromo, who has long disputed the interference narrative, jumped on X to slam her critics:
As early as 2017, Bartiromo has consistently jousted with Democratic officials and lawmakers over Russia and remained skeptical of the story.
