‘I Fled Dictatorship’: Ana Navarro Pushes Back When Hunter Biden Claims Trump Is a ‘Dictator’

Ana Navarro pushed back on Hunter Biden’s claim President Donald Trump is a “dictator” while the two were speaking in an interview for her BLEEP! podcast Monday.

“He is a dictator. I don’t… in no uncertain terms. Everybody understands this. He has broken the system. It is gone. It is completely broken,” Biden said of the president.

He continued:

They’re going through confirmation hearings right now of his personal attorney to be the Attorney General of the United States. He has used his position as president of the United States to jail, to attempt to jail journalists. He is prosecuting Don Lemon for following someone into… and we’re not all sitting here up in arms. He goes on Air Force One and he gets a question that he doesn’t like and he looks at a veteran woman reporter and tells her to ‘Be quiet piggy,’ and no one says anything we have lost our democracy at this point.

Navarro, who was born in Nicaragua before moving to the United States at age 8, told Biden, “I fled dictatorship. I fled the Sandinistas in 1980, and I live in Miami, where there’s a lot of Cuban-American exiles, a lot of Venezuelan-American exiles, a lot of Haitian-American exiles. I think he definitely would like to be a dictator and have no guardrails, have no pushback.”

Navarro graduated from the the University of Miami in 1993 and has since worked for several political leaders. She was the National Co-Chair of John McCain’s Hispanic Advisory Council and also a surrogate for McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. Navarro worked as a special advisor to the Government of Nicaragua and was the first Director of Immigration Policy in the Executive Office of the Governor for Jeb Bush (R-FL).
