‘Juicy Sh*t!’ Trump’s Very Public Falling Out With Elon Musk Rocks the Political World

The sudden, messy end to President Donald Trump’s political bromance with Elon Musk has set off a ton of reaction in the political sphere.
Observers have lit up social media Thursday afternoon following the president’s shocking comments in the Oval Office, and Musk’s subsequent X posts in which the former White House advisor blew up what remained of his relationship with Trump.
“Elon and I had a great relationship, I don’t know if we will anymore,” Trump said. He added, “I’m very disappointed in Elon.”
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election,” Musk wrote on X, in response. He added, “Such ingratitude.”
Political watchers of all stripes have grabbed their popcorn to watch the shocking — and yet entirely predictable — dissolution of a powerful alliance that seemed rock solid as recently as one month ago.
Senator Tina Smith (D-MN), posting on X, sent Trump “The Ultimate Breakup Playlist.”
“Thought you could use this,” Smith wrote.
