MAGA Influencer Returns to Fox News After Scary On-Air Medical Episode: ‘Surprised You Don’t Have a Seat Belt For Me’
MAGA influencer and former Trump White House staffer Camryn Kinsey returned to Fox News Tuesday night, days after a frightening on-air medical episode that saw her collapse to the floor mid-sentence.
Kinsey, back in the Fox News @ Night studio after last week’s fainting spell, was introduced by correspondent Jonathan Hunt — who was once again filling in for usual host Trace Gallagher.
Hunt began with the gorilla in the room.
“Camryn, to your first. I would be remiss if I didn’t hand you a bottle of water to keep you hydrated,” he said.
“I’m surprised you don’t have a seat belt for me in this chair,” she retorted.
“We thought about it and we thought about putting a whole bunch of pillows around there,” he added.
As he welcomed Kinsey to the show, Hunt also spoke to the criticism he received for initially trying to keep the show going after Kinsey passed out instead of cutting straight to a commercial.
“As you can see, Camryn is gloriously upright and well, no thanks to me, according to the internet. Thank you very much for that, internet. But wouldn’t you rather be rescued by a guy called Romeo than a guy called Jonathan?”
“Yes,” she said. “I had an amazing team, and I thank each and every one of you, seriously, for being there.”
Hunt also shouted out Fox News @ Night stage director Romeo Ballantine, who jumped into action after Kinsey fainted, as “a great hero always and every night here.”
The scary scene unfolded on May 8 as Kinsey spoke about former President Joe Biden’s appearance on The View earlier that day, specifically his comment that “sexism” cost her the election.
“They put [Kamala Harris] as the border czar, she never went to the border,” Kinsey said as she started to struggle with her words. “So this is about incompetency, it’s not about ideology. It’s not about, uh–”
Kinsey then lost consciousness and collapsed out of her chair, falling to the floor.
“Wow, sorry for the scare last night,” she later posted on X. “I want to start by thanking the incredible Fox News team and the EMTs who responded with such speed and care. It was an unexpected and frightening moment, but thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I’m doing well.”
