Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) was roasted on social media over a series of videos where she traveled to Washington, D.C. to vote on President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.

In the various videos, Mace traveled in her pajamas to D.C. and made pit stops at Waffle House and a Wawa to stock up on Red Bull. AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” plays in the background of Mace’s video that compiled her separate travel clips. The House convened on Wednesday following the president’s budget bill passing through the Senate.

“Mace wanted to make sure everyone saw her pajamas during her journey to DC from South Carolina,” Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg wrote while sharing video of Mace on X. “What a clown.”

Mace said her flight to D.C. was cancelled, which is why she needed to be driven there.

“Why do so many of our elected representatives want to be influencers?” Outkick’s Tomi Lahren commented.

“They’re addicted to attention and aren’t talented enough to make it in Hollywood,” Rugg told her.

Other critics called Mace “embarrassing” and “trashy” over the videos.

After posting about her journey, Mace accused Democrats of chasing social media clout as they railed against the budget bill from the House floor.

“Now Dems are doing a bunch of UC or unanimous consent requests which ofc are not being entertained as they are not in order. This is just a Dem delay,” she wrote. “Or for their social media, clips…”
