Steve Bannon Shares Shocking List Questioning Whether FBI Arrested Wrong Man for Charlie Kirk Assassination

Steve Bannon shared a list of shocking claims on Monday that amounted to an argument that authorities had arrested the wrong guy for the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
“This is the SHORT LIST,” wrote Bannon on GETTR above a screenshot of a post from X user @Rothbard1776, an account that boasts well over 280,000 followers. The post in question read:
Brief recap:
> They haven’t recovered the bullet.
> They haven’t presented any video or photographic evidence of the alleged shooter with the gun.
> The alleged shooter did not confess to law enforcement.
> They haven’t presented any pictures or videos of the alleged shooter changing his clothes on the roof, which is contradicted by the photos that have been released.
> They don’t have any physical evidence of “the note” where the alleged shooter allegedly claimed he would have a chance to take out CK.
> TPUSA staff contaminated the crime scene and removed the camera sitting directly behind Charlie immediately after the shooting (where is the footage?).
> Discord disputes the FBI’s claim that the alleged shooter discussed any plans to assassinate Charlie Kirk. If true, they would have the data to back this up.We might end up seeing all of this eventually (and I hope we do), but so far the “evidence” that’s actually been presented is hardly convincing.

In another post on Sunday, the same account wrote, “You guys know those groups on Discord, Telegram, 4chan, etc. are crawling with Feds and intel operatives, right? Do you remember the Whitmer Fednapping plot? If you wanted to sell a narrative and create a patsy, how might you do it? Continue to demand hard evidence. Until then, question everything.”
In yet another post, the account appeared to present another theory for who might be behind Kirk’s assassination, citing a New York Post article about a friendly conversation between Kirk and a rabbi shortly before the former’s death.
Bannon has been critical of the Trump administration’s investigation of Kirk’s murder, tsk-tsking FBI Director Kash Patel for touting law enforcement’s efforts after Tyler Robinson was arrested for allegedly shooting Kirk.
“I’m not seeing the great law enforcement work,” mused Bannon after a press conference headlined by Patel last week. “What I wanna see is some law enforcement people step up to the microphone, give some details and take some questions from the media. I don’t know why Kash flew out there, you know, thousands of miles to give us, hey, we’re working partnerships and our great partnership in Utah.”
