Trump Demands Reporters Stop Talking About Him And Epstein In New White House Scrum — Claims ‘I Have Nothing To Do With The Guy!’
President Donald Trump demanded that reporters stop talking about him and deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein and offered a list of other topics and Epstein associations they should focus on.
It has been almost three weeks since the Trump administration first tried to bury the promised mountain of information on deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, and the heat just keeps going up. At every turn, Trump’s efforts to quash the story have only intensified interest in it, and deepened Trump’s own association with it.
On Friday morning, Trump spoke to reporters as he departed the White House en route to Turnberry, Scotland. When asked a question about Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, Trump pivoted to telling reporters where their Epstein focus should lie and claimed he has “nothing to do” with Epstein:
REPORTER: What are you hoping Todd Blanche gets out of his meetings with Ghislaine Maxwell?
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, I don’t know about the meeting. I know it’s taking place. And he’s a fantastic man. He’s a great attorney.
And people should really focus on how well the country is doing, or they should focus on the fact that Barack Hussein Obama led a coup, or they should focus on the fact that Larry Summers from Harvard, that Bill Clinton, who you know very well, and lots of other friends — really close friends of Jeffrey. Summers should be spoken about, because, you know — Jeffrey Epstein should be spoken about.
And they should speak about them because they don’t talk about them, they talk about me. I have nothing to do with the guy!
Trump’s efforts to quash the Epstein story have been complicated by a never-ending stream of developments.
Just this week alone:
- Trump flipped out and threatened to sue after The Wall Street Journal dropped a hotly anticipated profile of the Trump-Epstein relationship that included a highly suggestive note.
- A slew of unearthed videos depicting Trump as a sex creep went viral.
- A new bomb that Trump was previously told he’s in the Epstein Files dropped.
- The rollout of Trump’s baseless and discredited accusation of “treason” against former President Barack Obama appears to have flopped.
- A House subcommittee voted to subpoena all documents relating to the case.
