Trump Officially Rebrands the Department of War, Says We Didn’t Win Wars After Going ‘Wokey’

President Donald Trump has signed an executive order renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War. The declaration requires an act of Congress to become official, and it’s not certain whether the GOP has enough support on Capitol Hill.

As Secretary Pete Hegseth looked on in the Oval Office, Trump said the name change is all about “winning.”

“We should have won every war. We could have won every war, but we– or we really chose to be very, very politically correct. Or ‘wokey.’ And we just fight forever. And we, you know, win, lose, we just fight to sort of a tie, we never wanted to win. Wars that every one of them we would have won easily with just a couple of little changes.”

Trump continued:

But we never fought to win. And now we, if we have to fight at all — you know we solved seven wars. We had the one that I thought was going to be probably one of the easier ones, with President Putin and Ukraine, and that turned out to be one that is a little bit more difficult.

But they seven are done. They were supposed to be much more difficult to solve. I solved every one of them. And we will get the other one done as well. But it turned out to be a little bit more difficult than I thought. But it will get done or there will be hell to pay.
