Trump Snipes at ABC’s Rachel Scott for Asking About Epstein Victim: I Figured ‘ABC Fake News Would Ask That’

President Donald Trump went after ABC News White House correspondent Rachel Scott for asking about Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre — who Trump said Epstein “stole” from Mar-a-Lago.

During a question-and-answer session at the White House Thursday, Scott confronted the president about a statement issued by the family of Giuffre — in which they pleaded with Trump to “never consider giving Ghislaine Maxwell any leniency.”

“You said that Jeffrey Epstein stole people from Mar-a-Lago,” Scott said to Trump. “At the time, did you know why he was taking those young women, including Virginia Giuffre?”

Trump fumed over the question.

“No I didn’t,” Trump said. “I figured it would be ABC fake news that would ask that question. One of the worst.”

The president went on to reiterate his claim that he threw Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago because he “stole” employees — despite questions about the president’s timeline of events.

“I don’t know really why,” Trump said. “But I said if he’s taken anybody from Mar-a-Lago, he’s hiring or whatever he’s doing, I didn’t like it. And we threw him out. We said we don’t want him at the place. This is a story that’s been known for many years, as you know. But it’s… I didn’t like it, that he was doing that.”
