Trump Torches ‘INCOMPETENT’ Newsom for Failing to Protect ‘GREAT Patriots’ of ICE

President Donald Trump was up and swinging Wednesday morning, blasting “INCOMPETENT” California Gov. Gavin Newsom for failing to protect the “GREAT Patriots” of ICE as protests against the agency gripped Los Angeles.

“The INCOMPETENT Governor of California was unable to provide protection in a timely manner when our Ice Officers, GREAT Patriots they are, were attacked by an out of control mob of agitators, troublemakers, and/or insurrectionists,” Trump posted to his Truth Social platform. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump and the Democratic governor have been trading barbs for days since protests erupted in the City of Angels over the weekend, with Trump even going so far as to suggest Newsom should be arrested.

On Tuesday, Newsom shared a couple of TikTok videos mocking Trump as Star Wars villain Emperor Palpatine.
