Trump Unleashes On ‘SCAM’ Public Broadcasters And Allies Who’d Dare Help Canada In Late-Night Tirade

President Donald Trump went on a late-night tirade on Truth Social early Thursday to unleash a stream of attacks on the judiciary, public broadcasters, and longtime American allies—while celebrating the economic brinksmanship of his looming tariffs.

The opening salvo was aimed at Judge James Boasberg, who picked up the new Signalgate case after having blocked the administration’s Venezuelan deportation flights.

Roughly twenty minutes after raging that it was “statistically, IMPOSSIBLE” Boasberg would land the case and diagnosing the judge with “Massive Trump Derangement Syndrome”, Trump pivoted to other issues that were on his mind in the wee hours: “SCAM” public broadcasters and countries that would dare help Canada as his tariffs come into effect.

On the back of a House subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, in which the heads of National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) testified in a heated congressional subcommittee hearing, the president was keen to weigh in.

“NPR and PBS are a giant SCAM,” Trump wrote, labeling them “completely biased” and demanding that Congress eliminate their funding.

NPR and PBS, two horrible and completely biased platforms (Networks!), should be DEFUNDED by Congress, IMMEDIATELY. Republicans, don’t miss this opportunity to rid our Country of this giant SCAM, both being arms of the Radical Left Democrat Party. JUST SAY NO AND, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

Before the hour was up, Trump switched it up again and declared the launch of his controversial tariffs would mark “LIBERATION DAY IN AMERICA” in an all caps burst:

LIBERATION DAY IN AMERICA IS COMING, SOON. FOR YEARS WE HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY VIRTUALLY EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, BOTH FRIEND AND FOE. BUT THOSE DAYS ARE OVER — AMERICA FIRST!!!

In a final post at 1:50 a.m. Trump issued a not-so-subtle threat to the European Union, warning against any support for Canada in response to his tariffs.

If the European Union works with Canada in order to do economic harm to the USA, large scale Tariffs, far larger than currently planned, will be placed on them both in order to protect the best friend that each of those two countries has ever had!

Finally, after the digital barrage, Trump’s feed fell silent.
