WATCH: C-Span Cameras Captured Kenosha Murder Suspect Kyle Rittenhouse at Trump Rally in January

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17 year-old man charged with murder in the deaths of two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was captured by C-Span cameras just a few feet away from President Donald Trump at a rally in January.

Rittenhouse has been charged with first degree murder in the shootings of three people, two of whom died, during unrest over the police shooting of Jacob Blake. The suspect was filmed at a Trump rally in Des Moines, Iowa on January 30 of this year, as Buzzfeed reported.

Rittenhouse’s now-deleted TikTok feed featured a video from the rally that he shot, which is still being circulated on Twitter and has been uploaded to YouTube.

And in the C-Span feed, Rittenhouse can be seen in that same spot, in spitting distance of Trump as he takes the podium at Drake University. The bespectacled, white-capped Rittenhouse is visible onscreen for several minutes, filming and engaging in what appears to be whistling as Trump basks in the applause following his introduction.

According to Buzzfeed, “A close look at [Rittenhouse’s] social media accounts and background show a teenager obsessed with law enforcement who also identified as a strong supporter of President Donald Trump and ‘Blue Lives Matter,’ a pro–law enforcement movement that evolved in response to Black Lives Matter.”
