WATCH: Stunning New Video of Air India Plane Crash Survivor Shows Him Casually Walking Away From Flaming Wreckage

Shocking new video from last week’s Air India plane crash shows the sole survivor emerging on the street as a towering wall of smoke and flames looms behind him.

The footage, shared on X Monday by user kathiyawadiii, shows Vishwash Kumar Ramesh casually walking away moments after the crash of Flight AI171 on Thursday.

Ramesh, a British national who was in Seat 11A, was hospitalized after limping to a waiting ambulance on the street. He was flying with his brother, who was killed in the crash.

“He is doing very well and will be ready to be discharged anytime soon,” Dr. Dhaval Gameti told the Associated Press over the weekend.

The flight crashed in Ahmedabad, Western India, shortly after takeoff while bound for Gatwick, Great Britain.

The disaster claimed the lives of 270 people — 241 aboard the plane and another 29 on the ground.
