WATCH: Video Shows Pastel-Clad Bro Absolutely Whipping Sub Sandwich at Federal Officer Before Fleeing (Unsuccessfully) on Foot
New video posted by FBI Director Kash Patel shows the moment a pastel-clad man in Washington D.C. hurled a footlong sandwich – still in its Subway wrapper – at a U.S. border agent and fleeing before officers tackled him to the ground.
The scene played out against the backdrop of President Donald Trump’s security escalation in the district, where he has deployed FBI, DEA, and Homeland Security officers alongside National Guard troops, taking federal control of the capital’s policing.
According to a criminal complaint by transit police detective Daina Henry, the perpetrator, identified as 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn, had moments earlier jabbed a finger in the officer’s face and shouted: “F*ck you! You f*cking fascists! Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!”
Attorney General Pam Bondi has since revealed that Dunn is a Justice Department staffer and has since been fired from his job and charged with a felony, framing the sandwich hit as a prime example of Deep State meddling against Trump.
Although Dunn has not publicly commented on the incident, a criminal complaint filed in court records shows that Dunn allegedly confessed: “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”
The case is now in the hands of US attorney Jeanine Pirro, the former Fox News host, who said she would “back the police to the hilt.”
In a video statement, she declared: “President Trump has vowed to make DC safe and beautiful again… The president’s message to the criminals was: if you spit, we hit.”
“This guy thought it was funny,” Pirro added. “Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today, because we charged him with a felony, assault on a police officer.”
