‘We All Should Be Very Worried’: John Brennan Panics Trump Will ‘Pull Out All Stops’ During Midterms

“We should all be very worried” about the possibility that President Donald Trump will increase his efforts to disrupt the electoral process ahead of this year’s midterms, former CIA Director John Brennan said Tuesday on MS NOW.

“I think we all should be very worried about what the President might do in order to try to interfere somehow in the integrity of the upcoming midterm elections. He has tremendous authority in terms of the President of the United States,” Brennan said during an interview on State of Play with Peter Alexander.

“And if he believes that either House is going to shift to Democratic control, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s going to pull out all stops and use, as he says, every tool at their availability,” Brennan continued.

“And with the Department of Justice, as well as with the Republican Congress, willing to support him, again, I think we have very legitimate reasons to be very concerned and worried.”

The president’s fixation on alleged election fraud in 2020 has been a frequent refrain of his second term. In July, Trump insisted the American electoral process is vulnerable to possible interference from foreign adversaries and used a primetime address to push Congress to pass the SAVE America Act.

If passed, the legislation would require proof of citizenship to vote.

In May, Trump pledged to deploy an “election integrity army” in every state via Truth Social:
