Elon Musk Tells Rogan There ‘Never Would Have Been Another Real Election’ If Trump Lost in 2024

Elon Musk insisted in a three-hour-plus marathon interview with Joe Rogan that there would have “never been another real election” in the United States if President Donald Trump lost in 2024.

Musk joined Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience on Friday for a lengthy chat that touched on everything from his relationship to Trump to the 3I/ATLAS comet.

The X owner argued Trump saved elections in the United States with his focus on securing the southern border. While once a close ally of Trump’s and working with DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), Trump and Musk have had a rocky road since Musk left the White House, with Musk at one point accusing Trump of being in the “Epstein files” and Trump threatening Musk’s government contracts.

“If Trump had lost, there would never have been another real election again because Trump is actually enforcing the border,” Musk told Rogan.

He claimed later that Democrats want to “destroy democracy by importing voters.”

“In a nutshell, the Democratic Party wants to destroy democracy by importing voters, and the Republican Party disagrees with that,” he argued.

Musk added, however, that he believes there are situations where ICE’s immigration enforcement has been “overzealous,” a point Rogan has made on his show before.

“Now you can point of situations where there’s been, you know, immigration, you know, enforcement has been overzealous because they’re not going to be perfect,” he said. “There’ll be cases where they’ve been overzealous in expelling illegals. But if you say that the standard must be perfection for expelling illegals, then you will not get any expulsion because perfection is impossible.”

Rogan has been more critical of Trump’s immigration enforcement, arguing agents should be focused on illegal immigrants guilty of violent crimes rather than those who are law-abiding save for their legal status.

“The immigration thing, the way it looks is horrific,” he said on his show this month. “It looks — when you’re just arresting people in front of their kids and just normal, regular people that have been here for 20 years, everybody who has a heart can’t get along with that. Everybody who has heart sees that and goes, that can’t be right, that can be right. That can’t the only way to do this.”
