LA Times: FBI Seeking to Interview Hillary Clinton
According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, the FBI investigators in charge of Hillary Clinton‘s email server are setting up interviews with long-time Clinton confidants and are seeking an interview with Clinton herself.
“No dates have been set for questioning the advisors,” the Times reports, “but a federal prosecutor in recent weeks has called their lawyers to alert them that he would soon be doing so, the sources said. Prosecutors also are expected to seek an interview with Clinton herself, though the timing remains unclear.”
Sources tell the Times that the investigation is nearing completion, and that the FBI has recovered nearly all the data they can from Clinton’s server. The interview will allow them to “better understand whether Clinton or her aides knowingly or negligently discussed classified government secrets over a non-secure email system when she served as Secretary of State.”
