Yet Another FSU Player Accused of Hitting a Woman

Dalvin CookDays after Tallahassee police released video of Florida State University quarterback De’Andre Johnson hitting a woman in a bar, another FSU player is under investigation for attacking a woman outside a bar.

The Tallahassee Democrat reports that running back Dalvin Cook is under investigation for the battery of a 21-year-old woman outside of Tallahassee bar Clyde’s & Costellos on June 23.

The copy of the police report obtained by the Democrat was highly redacted, but included the information that the victim intends to press charges.

Cook’s alleged battery took place the night before Johnson punched a woman at a separate Tallahassee nightclub, and six months after former FSU quarterback Jameis Winston was horribly assaulted by Oregon’s pass rush.

UPDATE (3:26 PM EST): ESPN reports that the state attorney’s office in Tallahassee will indeed be bringing charges against Cook, with State attorney Willie Meggs saying he found the female witnesses “very credible.”
