Steph Curry and Others Slam NCAA Over Oregon Forward Sedona Prince’s Viral Video of Women’s Tiny Training Area: ‘This is Deplorable’

Oregon Duck’s Sedona Prince shared a video showing the flagrant differences between the men and women’s NCAA training rooms, and it did not go over well on Twitter.

Prince shared the video to TikTok — later posting it to Twitter on Thursday — showing just how blatantly different the accommodations and resources are for the men and women:

“I got something to show y’all. So, for the NCAA March Madness, the biggest tournament in college basketball for women … This is our weight room,” she said while pointing at a small single stack of weights in the women’s facility in San Antonio.

“Lemme show y’all the men’s weight room,” she added, cutting to the Men’s Tournament gym in Indiana.

Prince explained that after pictures of the respective weight rooms were posted on the internet, the NCAA came out with a statement claiming that space was the issue, not money.

Prince then cut to the other side of the room, showing a criminal amount of unused space.

“If you aren’t upset about this problem, then you are a part of it,” she added.

The NCAA Vice President Lynn Holzman issued a similar statement following Prince’s video, once again claiming the differences in amenities were due to “limited space,” but also pledging to work to “enhance existing resources.”

On top of Prince’s viral TikTok, OvertimeWBB also shared a compilation of posts, one of which was also by Prince, exposing the incredibly unappetizing meal the women receive, while showing the large buffet offered to the men:
