‘They F**ked Us!’ UConn Coach Caught Flipping Out On Camera After NCAA Elimination

Connecticut basketball was knocked out of the NCAA tournament by Florida on Sunday afternoon, and head coach Dan Hurley was less than pleased after leaving the court.
The 52-year-old was caught on camera screaming – presumably about the game’s officiating – in an expletive-laden screed aimed at Baylor’s players.
UConn came up two points short in Raleigh, losing to the Florida Gators 77-75 in a physical game. The Huskies racked up 21 personal fouls in the game and will not have a chance to three-peat as national champs.
In a clip posted on X in the moments after the game, Hurley appeared to direct comments at Baylor as the Bears prepared to take the court against Duke.
“I hope they don’t fuck you like they fucked us!” the coach yelled. “I hope they don’t do that to you, Baylor.”
It was not clear what particular play or penalty, if any, drew the ire of UConn’s seventh-year coach during the game.
Hurley was so animated on the sidelines that CBS Sports announcer Ian Eagle said during the first half, “Every time we get a shot of Dan Hurley, that is a potential meme waiting to happen.”
Hurley was later caught on camera appearing to tell one of his assistants to “shut up.”
The Gators drew 17 personal fouls to Connecticut’s 21 on Sunday at Lenovo Center with Referees Ron Groover, Courtney Green, and Tommy Morrissey officiating.
The Baylor and Duke matchup was officiated by Brian O’Connell, Kipp Kissinger, and Clarence Armstrong.
The Gators and the Huskies were tied at the half with 31 points apiece. Florida gutted out the win, denying men’s basketball’s back-to-back champs a chance at a third trophy.
