Al Roker Takes Jab At Fox News ‘Fair And Balanced’ Slogan
During a goofy conversation this morning on NBC’s Today Show, weather anchor Al Roker took what seemed to be a jokey stab at Fox News’ “fair and balanced” slogan and what he likely perceives as a right-leaning bias at the network.
It all began with co-host Natalie Morales reporting on the fashion world’s high praise for First Lady Michelle Obama‘s “trendy” grey-blue nail polish bound to “spark a craze” after being worn during her Tuesday night DNC speech (hard-hitting stuff, people!).
Upon completing her report, Morales wagered a guess as to what that particular shade is called at salons: “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
Guest co-host Tamron Hall excitedly chimed in that her nail salon has a similar shade they call “Fair and Balanced.”
At this moment, Roker giggled and said: “But you can only put it on your right hand.”
Laughter broke out on- and off-camera, with Hall doubled over in hysterics. But host Matt Lauer seemed less amused, smirking and saying, “Wow. Wow. Wow.”
