Andy Rooney In Stable Condition After Suffering Complications From Surgery

60 Minutes legend Andy Rooney is in stable condition after suffering serious complications from surgery. CBS News reports he’s currently resting in a hospital bed. His family has requested privacy throughout his ordeal and released no further medicial information.

Rooney recently retired from 60 Minutes earlier this month after presenting his 1,097th essay for the program.

“I wish I could do this forever. I can’t, though,” Rooney wistfully lamented in his final broadcast.
