April Ryan: I’ve Received Death Threats Over White House Coverage

On CNN this morning, American Urban Radio Networks White House correspondent April Ryan said she’s received death threats for her reporting on President Trump.

Stelter spoke with Ryan, Newsmax’s John Gizzi, and New York Magazine‘s Olivia Nuzzi to reflect on a year of President Trump vs the media.

Ryan said that “there has been a war on the press by the White House led by this president,” and said that she and other reporters have “gotten death threats.”

Stelter asked, “Death threats for reporting?” Ryan responded, “Death threats, yes, for asking questions and reporting.”
